00. WHAT CAN I DRAW?

01. PAYMENT

🟊 I only start drawing after I receive full payment.
🟊 An invoice will be sent and payment in USD is expected within 24 hours unless there has been an agreement. You must have a firm date you will be able to send the payment.
🟊 I also take payment in CAD through Interac e-transfer.
🟊 Payment plans are accepted for any order over $60. A down payment of 25% is required and you are expected to pay everything off within 3 months. This is loose and can be negotiated.
🟊 I can hold a commission slot or an adopt for up to a week UNLESS discussed beforehand.
🟊 I will not issue refunds for adopts and for commissions after I start on them. If I cannot finish within 6 months, I will refund the full amount (100%).

02. COMMISSIONS

🟊 I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.
🟊 You are receiving a digital good. Nothing will be shipped.
🟊 I do not work in order. This allows me to make as much progress as possible.
🟊 I send one sketch WIP before finishing. For customs, I send a colored sketch and for illustrations with more than 2 characters, I send 3 WIPs (concept, sketch, flat colors).
🟊 When receiving WIPs, especially for custom designs, please ask before drawing on them.
🟊 My turnaround time ranges from one day to two months. I will notify you if I go past a month.
🟊 You may ask for updates or/and WIPs once every 2 weeks once the commission has been fully paid. However, it is best to follow my progress on my Trello.
🟊 Updates concerning everyone I owe art to are posted on VGen, Toyhouse & Trello.
🟊 I only accept a maximum of 3 free revisions. 5$ per revision will be charged afterwards. If the revision involves a major change, such as reposing the character or relining a major part of the drawing, the revision fee will be 15$.
🟊 No extra fees will be required if you are looking to remove species traits on a previous commission.
🟊 If no details (i.e. personality or/and pose reference) were provided when the commission was ordered, I will not resketch the commission without a revision fee (5$).

03. DESIGNS

🟊 Once you purchase one of my designs, you can do anything you want. All I ask is credit as the artist for the original design. If a design is used commercially, an extra fee has to be paid.
🟊 Do not resell traded designs or resell for higher than you've paid for. However, you can add the value of commissioned & personal art on the price. Designs acquired for free can't be traded or resold without added art.
🟊 Please don't draw/edit on my art. You are, however, allowed to redesign the character to your heart's content.
🟊 You are allowed to convert the design into a closed species, but please ask me before doing so. If you want me to add CS traits for you, you have to pay an extra 5$.

04. COMMERCIAL USE, CREDIT & SOCIAL MEDIA

🟊 None of my art can be used in any blockchain-related technology, which includes NFTs, cryptocurrency or any future inventions in the space.
🟊 My art cannot be used to train AIs and generate AI-created artwork.
🟊 By default, all commissions & designs can only be used for personal purposes.
🟊 If the commission or design is used for commercial purposes, you must pay a fee (+100%).
🟊 For designs acquired via a trade or a gift, commercial fee will be the base price for a custom design. Currently, this fee is at 50$ (USD only).
🟊 By default, I consider that I can post finished commissions on my social media. If you want to keep them private, let me know before I finish your commission.
🟊 Please credit me (Toyhouse or this Carrd) if you're using my work anywhere.
